i had the same problem...i took the float bowl off the the carb and all the jets were pluged. this bike only requires a battery for accesories such as turn signals, break lights, etc...check the spark plug,clean all jets on the carb, and when you kick it make sure the kick indicator window is white. to do that hold the compression lever down and kick down till you see white. it worked for me.
