hello chaps i have a 1976 750 sei ,, imported from usa in 1982 .. i rescue it 2 years ago from a very damp garage down south !!no paper work.gave steve priest the numbers and he matched it to being shipped to america in march 1976. thing is its a non runner and on the clocks it has 8326 mls !! now all the signs like chain adjustment .. wear !! sprokets/discs/ are all hardly touched ..it turns over and the tank looks lika an old ship inside its that rusty.engine has not been run .but anyway ... i have a new set of pipes of detlef burion in germany . i am going to tear it down and start again . at the moment i am restoring a 1976 silver jota !! the original beast. what i would like the panel advice on is what ignition systems are best to replace the original rubbish ?? also i would love some mint original shocks .it has the original shocks on it .they are very bad ..anyone know of anybody who might bring tham back from the dead ??? this is my first time on this sight.would love to find someone who knows these bikes as i think i will need some expert help . i will get it back to how it should be . kind regards steve
