hello I suppose almost everyone who´s rebuilding CJ had such problem... In my cause the camshaft chain was not correctly regulated. Moreover your bike may: -have poor compression because of incorrect camshaft distance regulation (correct: 0.05mm intake and 0.08mm exhaust) -take "unnecessary" air through the leaking carburator´s connectors (between engine and carbs) -have damaged (fenestrated) carburator´s membrane I hope this will help you to solve the problem Kuba, Poland visit my website: http://www.republika.pl/cj250t |
