I owned a yellow 1976 750 F model and my side covers were a metal flake grey. I put a Kerker exhaust header and muffler on mine and my carb jetting was ok. That Honda 750F tach spent a second or 2 pointing to the ND on the bottom of the tach face when I missed a shift while racing. I put about 24,000 miles on that bike with only replacing the rear tire twice, the front tire once and the chain and rear sprocket 3 times. There is nothing like the sound of a 750F pulling away under acceleration. When I sold the bike the guy that purchased it did that and I almost chased him down to buy the bike back
