I just picked up an old Honda 750-4 for a song and am told that it ran beautifully when last it was used (about 3 years ago). It´s obvious that it needs new fuel lines and cleaning up. My question is this: I have never owned a bike before in my life, what else should I be doing to be sure that this thing is road ready. I have heard (and figured) that it would need to have the gas drained and flushed and new oil, probably new plugs, as well. But this is just general stuff I am figuring out from having had cars. Can anybody give me a more complete list of stuff to do? I´m anxious to get going but don´t wanna make any dumb mistakes. Any ideas and help are appreciated. Please e-mail your responses to me at: mansfield01@yahoo.com Thanks Dave Mansfield |
