the cycle shown on this site is not a gt-500 it is a t-500m the gt-500 had a5 gallon coffin shaped tank the t-500 shown had a3.5 gallon tank the gt-500-a also had adifferent seat inst cluster electronic ign front disc brake im pretty sure you can install old style point/cond plate but must use old dual coilunder tank harry p suzy wrench for 15 yrs back inlate 60-early 80,s the re-5,s were a fun ride but most dealers did not have good enough mechs to keep them running right not to bad mouth the dealers , but this was an extreme in complexedy looking back suzuki should have had nasa sell and service this toy.
