Hey there guys. I have a project gt 550 that I´m working on and this is the first bike I have ever tried to restore before. Anywyas, after taking the case apart, these two rubber plugs were the only things I had left when I was ready to put them back together. There is no mention of them in Clymers, but they have to be there for something. I was wondering if they were used to dampen the transmission because it shifted really rough when I was putting the halves together. Does any body Know? Thanks, Rorbino
