Brian, we used to swipe the coils from a couple of old dodge cars and replace the RD´s coil with them, gave them a super hot spark and made her screeeaaamm. I had a friend who has a 78´ RD 400 and he regularly smokes the yam yzf 600´s of the line, doesn´t stay ahead long, but the look on those kids faces is worth it.
