I thought I would seek sollace and exretese as bike electrics are like black magic to me. Well it started as a simple job..... Noticed one day that the HT leads and NGK plug caps looking a bit grim so thought I would replace them. Realised a whole new coil needed to replace plug leads. Bought a cheaper model off ebay and tried to fit but wiring different colours and bolt spacing different too. Plugged it both ways and no spark. Have now got an OEM form Dave silver spares which is identical to old one and still no spark. There is power to the contact breaker points as they spark but nothing at the plugs. Should I replace condenser next? Ant suggestions for faultfinding) Have checked kill switch not engaged.
