I have the same problem. I had some wiring problems with my bike when I first started fixing it up again bc it sat for a while. Mice and shit chew up the wires. Anyway my turn signals did used to flash but one time when I was working on the wiring I pulled a wire out of something shaped like a little box (about .5"by1"by1")two wires went into it. Anyway after that the bike still worked but I never put the wire back in. When I turn I just use my thumb to blink it lol. Hopefully this helps. Check the wire diagram
