I just bought a 1975 Cb 500 T and it has been sitting for about 10 years. I have a new battery and I just took off both carbs and cleaned them out. The start button is currently missing and I have to kick start it. Everytime it starts it is idling really fast 4-5K RPM and I canĀ“t adjust it to stay low. I try to adjust the throttle bolts on the carb and other adjustments but everytime it drops below 3k rpm, the bike stalls. What is the usual idle RPM for this bike and how can I adjust it to fix this idle problem?
