I have just purchased a 65% complete 1975 cb 500t motor and a parts motor out of a local paper. Its in rough shape, but its the right size for a project bike Im considering. I like the stoutness of the castings, stock hp rating and overall dimentions, but it needs parts. The head is missing some of the valve train, and there is no cam chain. There is no electrical with the motor at all . It needs pistons, rings, and wrist pins. Head castings are good and cylinders are ok. Bottom end seems strong, rolls nice. I would like to build this motor properly. Are aftermarkit parts for this motor available? Is this motor a decent tuner? Has anyone rebuilt one of these classic 500t´s? Are there any clubs relating to this particular displacement of Honda besides the currant Euro cb500?Anyone with any info at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike
