Is this a good first timer´s bike? |

Hi all, this place sure is a great resource. I just wish it wasn´t so rife with pop-ups. No matter, I´m considering buying a CB500 T from a neighbor who´s asking $400 for it. I´ve never ridden before and plan to use this one as my learner´s bike. Can anyone tell me any reason I might NOT want this bike? It´s in fair shape, and I intend to spend much fo the winter cleaning/fixing it up. Another poster said the twins were not that common because there were quads out that were MUCH smoother. Is that anything to be concerned about? I´d like to be able to ride my bike long distances once in a while, if these twins ride too rough to make that possible, I´ll look elsewhere. Thanks much in advance for any advice you might offer. Regards, AJM15 ps: That IS a valid email address, so please reply :) |
