I acquired a beautiful 1975 GL1000 a couple years ago and have been trying real hard to get it running well, but having what seems to be ignition problems, carb rack recently rebuilt with Randakks.com master rebuild kit. Hoping somebody out there knows a lot about the required 24,000 ohms of resistance across the 2 sets of plug wires and what might cause a big difference between the 2 sets. I get 23,100 across plug wires 1 & 2 but only 22,000 across wires 3 & 4. Also, was hoping to get a close view pic of what the coils and resistors mounted by the coils should look like, wiring and such. I would greatly appreciate any help anybody could offer. Thank you, Sanders |
