To start let´s say that I got a project bike. I didn´t realize how much of a project it would be. I knew there was carb troubles and a dirty gas can. After rebuilding the carbs according to Randakk´s advice and cleaning out the gas tank, I gave the old girl a start. A sputter and a stop a second later and the left cam shaft sheered of at the timing gear. Replaced cam shaft...timed it wrong, and now there is a mere click from the ignition switch. I figure I´m out a starter and need to pull the left head to see if I messed up the cylinder walls or piston. Has anyone had anything similar? I don´t know how much this is going to end up costing but it has sat too long. Help me... I want to ride!
