I had a ´96 ZZR 1100 that I picked up after an older gentleman had a mild stroke and didn´t feel he could ride safely anymore. What I didn´t realize at the time was how long it had been sitting. He had the carbs serviced, but that was 18 months earlier. I used some carb cleaner and some higher octane fuel and burned out the build up. It just needed to be warm and ridden.
