i bought mt z1 the week between christmas and new years 1974-1975.its color was blue,i had three to choose from 2 maroon and one blue..i traded a cb550 for the bike.the bikes price was $2750.00 brand new.it was incredibly fast.. i put denco cams,air pods and a kerker header on it, rejetted the carbs,i ran A/ss thats A super stock at the local dragstrip.it ran 11.90s at around 105 mph all day..had it painted all black with the chrome engine kit it was a stunning machine,should have kept it..sold it in 1980 for $1800.00.best bike i have ever owned and that counts 3 hondas and 2 harleys..this thing ate sportsters with ease..thanks for reading..
