How to get the piston off the rod?

I am replacing the Piston and rings on my ´71 TS250. I am also doing the gaskets and having the cylinder honed at a nearby shop.I took off the spring pins on the sides of the Piston but cannot tell how it slips off the crank? Any help in this procedure in general, or tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks
