I suppose by now you have bought one-? Mine is a 1982 Gn 250 and looks identical to the picture on the Bikez page for yours, except no disc and my pipes are rusty! Have had mine on the road for about a month and am really happy with it,it seems to be the smoothest motorcycle I´ve ridden, including 2 BMWs.Am just getting data on M/G,inaccurate figure of 60 now-as I go through more fillups I´ll get more "sig figs". Electrical system is a problem, the black box was shorted. [bought the bike from an old friend who figured I´d be able to solve this problem.]So I used the rectifier out of a car alternator and temporarily am simply using a big 20 ohm resistor to supply some charging current to the battery. Also put a headlight switch in. I have designed a better regulator using a big watt transistor,a 7815 regulator, and a Zener diode. However the Electronics supplier is verry slow! Also I have found that if the batery is low and barely cranks it over, it won´t start! Certainly the machine races through the gears fast, and the Bikez rating on top speed is probably correct.Haven´t had it out of Sayward yet so have yet to give it a good go.
