Well Eric, I don´t think you have wasted your money. I own one of them with 8k miles and truly enjoy it every time I ride. I did pay 3k in 2000 with only 1500 miles and if I have to sell mine I won´t let it go for less than 2200. If you go to dealers, they will ask 2000 for any junk with 15-25k miles on it, so congratulations and have fun. Cramia
