The connector between three yellow wires coming from the alternator to the rectifyer/voltage regulator burned and corroded away. I replaced it with separate spade connectors I bought at a local auto parts store. When I ran the bike, it charged (according to a volt meter on the battery) but the three wires got very hot where I connected them. Don´t know why. Any ideas? Thanks.
