Marco, I also have a 97 1100 Shadow Ace--I put Cobra slash pipes on it and a jet kit in the carborators--it has alot of power and very loud---but the mileage dropped from 42 mpg to 34 mpg. I am dissapointed in the mileage, but love to ride it.
