Hello Clarance I too am a new owner of a 97 ACE, just over 5000kms in 35 days. I am new to this style of big "big twin" low rpm and high torque thing. I really noticed the low speed shifts created vibrations and between 2nd and 3rd, gear. I was so conerned I had the dealers chief mechanic road test the bike. This was fortunate because when the dealer had sold the bike this mechanic had done the dealer demo, so he knew the bike well. He said give it a couple of tank fulls of gas and it will all work out. He was right, although it did take me a lest a 1000kms and it has all gone away and I miss it now and then. Hope this helps. Marco |
