I had the same problem, every time I stored it for winter myself{3 times} the next year it would not perform well REASON: did not drain all gas from carbs i.e. Small brass screw on bottom of carb bowls... un screw and lean bike left then right... cost me 300.00 to clean carbs now i store bike @ dealer and they take care of it for me
