First time buyer

First time buyer

I am trying to decide between 2 bikes for my first. One is a 1997 honda shadow 1100 with less miles and the other is a 2003 honda shadow with a little more wear on it. Both are in the same condition.Dose anyone have any suggestion for a first time motorcycle buyer?
