Lost electrical to spedometer, odometer & horn

I have a 2007 Silverado 1100. While riding today I noticed the speedometer was acting crazy, bouncing all over the place. The odometer was flashing and the horn would not sound. It returned to normal and then shortly after, all three quit working completely. After stopping and restarting, it is now working. What could be causing this?
