Retro british bike with W on tank

Retro british bike with W on tank

I yesterday saw a retro 1960s or 1970s British bike, similar to Triumph 650 or BSA, with no markings except a W on the tank. It also had a front disc brake and chain drive. Can anyone tell me what it was?
