To whom it may concern, I have two problems with my berg, fe 450, 2005, firstly it sometimes starts first kick or on the button, but sometimes its a pig, as though the battery is struggling to turn the engine. I cured this by fitting another battery under the seat and connecting it in parralel to the origanal. This is after trying a beefy starter and a more powerfull battery. Secondly, I only use it for green lanes and it overheats quickly if we are in a slow bit, forest or deep mud etc, this seems to be cured by fitting two computer cooling fans to the radiator, 12volt 40mm x 40mm, through a switch on the bars. It might seem a lot of hassle but the bike was cheap and better the devil you know etc !
