I have recently restored a Le Mans 11 and found it was a superb project bike. It is an easy and rewarding restoration and parts are quite easy to get. The only down side is the poor electrics. The mechanics are superb. It´s a great bike to ride and has lots of torque. Top gear is really high and I often forget it but once used it provides effortless cruising. Handling is great and the bike feels safe. The combination foot brake is an asset as it enables hard use of the pedal without fear of skidding. Fuel ecoconomy is about 45mpg.
