Looking to modify.....

I live in Kansas City, Mo and I am in the Navy. I recently bought a 94 YZF 750R from a kid who was going to use it as a stunt bike. It needed some work to run, but I did it easily. I am looking into swaping engines. Have any of you done tis yet? How hard is it to swap to a newer, and bigger engine? I can get an 07 R1 engine. Has anyone done this yet, and can you tell me what problems I will run into ahead of time? Thanks guys!
