RE: help replacing carb boots?

I am currently in the process of putting my ´91 ZR750 C1 back together from a carb boot replacement. I found that removing the gas tank (2 bolts) and the airbox assembly off a great help. Its putting them back on that gets tricky. Make sure the numbers match (1-4). I found it easy enough to cut the old boots off. I disconnected the fuel lines, then moved the carburetor out of the way. I bolted the boots onto the cylinder head, and when I finally got the direction and numbers right, I was able to slide the carb right into place. Be sure to put the airbox back before attempting to connect the carb to the boots. I didn´t reconnect the airbox boots before I connected the carb and this caused me a ton of aggravation. I´m happy to say that the boot replacement job was a success, however now I have no response in my throttle and no idea what to do with that. Best of luck.
