Beta's profilation of this bike |
Innovative new concept: from off-roader to trials bike in a few minutes
It’s called the ALP, a classic among off-road two-wheelers, but all that is left of the previous model is the name. New design, new cycle parts, but above all a new concept behind it: it converts from an all-round off-road bike to a trials machine in a few minutes. The idea is as simple as it is brilliant. There are no accessories to buy, all you need is a screwdriver to remove the tank cover and seat, to get an entry level trials bike. One bike, two uses, and only a few minutes to make the conversion.
The new Alp 125/200 retains the characteristic features of reliability and low running costs which have made it such a success in recent years, and it gains innovative product functions which enhance its character. The cycle parts are now based on a new trellis frame, which thanks to the new suspension combines terrific handling, off road and on, and surprising agility. Feather weight and low ride height complete the picture. It is enormous fun for day-to-day travelling, and even more striking is its safety for off-road riding. The design, too, is completely new. Compact and athletic, the new Alp stands out for the originality of its concept, with sleek and dynamic lines
