A great ride overall, but costly.

My HDMC was used, but was set up for me. Being a Dyna, this one had the forward controls, ape hanger handlebars which makes for a comfortable ride. Previous owner made most of the modifications. This is the one and only Harley I´ve ever owned. Dreamed of having one, got one, but if I ever bought another MC I doubt I would get a Harley. Main reason: the cost of ownership. If a product just has Harley Davidson on it the cost goes way up.It doesn´t mean that it is better. The biggest upside to a HD is it´s made in the USA. After that it drops.I just bought a HD oil filter: Dollars 10. Now that´s ridiculous. My daddy told me a long time ago,´Never fall in love with a car.´ Well, the same is true about a MC. You´ll spend your last dime on a piece of machinery and it´s just a ride. Let´s be practical. | |
