1997 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide review:
A lot of upside, but not perfect
Review of the Dyna Super Glide submitted on 2014-01-13.
My HDMC was used, but was set up for me. Being a Dyna, this one had the forward controls, ape hanger handlebars which makes for a comfortable ride. Previous owner made most of the modifications. This is the one and only Harley Iīve ever owned. Dreamed of having one, got one, but if I ever bought another MC I doubt I would get a Harley. Main reason: the cost of ownership. If a product just has Harley Davidson on it the cost goes way up.It doesnīt mean that it is better. The biggest upside to a HD is itīs made in the USA. After that it drops.I just bought a HD oil filter: Dollars 10. Now thatīs ridiculous. My daddy told me a long time ago,īNever fall in love with a car.ī Well, the same is true about a MC. Youīll spend your last dime on a piece of machinery and itīs just a ride. Letīs be practical.
