This is a quick review of the 2013 Keeway Strike 125cc 4stroke Motorcycle UK | ||||||

I have just bought my Strike this morning with 0.7miles on the clock..... So far today I´ve done 40 miles through city roads and country roads. A few things stick out to me about the strike.... Main issue I guess is that I have to keep my choke on about 1/3 whilst driving otherwise the bike Clonks out at traffic lights for example. With the choke on 1/3 the rpm will be around 3-3.5k which is heating my engine up to a rather uncomfortable level. Also, whilst the choke is on the clutch becomes rather hard to control where its near enough released fully before it actually moves the bike in 1st gear. My intentions tomorrow are to drive back to the dealership in Belfast with approx 50 miles on the clock to see what they can suggest. To be honest I am rather disappointed with the machine. I managed to get it up to full speed this evening on a long straight FLAT road and again I was disappointed that its top speed is 40mph!!! I will try and keep updated as to my end result tomorrow. |
