National Touring Like No Other

Purchased the Classic used in January 2011. In March, I rode like the wind from NE North Carolina to San Diego, Ca.[2890 miles]in 3.5 days...taking my time, however running from sun-up til I got tired, 12+ hours a day was absolutely no problem.
I was called back to work on an emergency and had to fly home, leaving my ´Baby´ with a friend.
In July, I returned and continued my Journey.
San Diego to Portland Oregon 1.5 days, spent a week, then headed East through Wa., over the Rockies, through Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, SD, MN, WI and on to Chicago to visit my kids. Spent a few days there then on through WV, Va and home to Elizabeth City NC.
23 days of No Hurries, No Worries.
21 States in all counting the trek in March.
FYI, I have a bad back [very bad] and I had NO PAIN or ANY physical issues AT ALL while riding. It IS the B E S T therapy anyone can ask for.
I used BP fuel and got average of 33mpg. Might seem low to some, but I was CRUISING between 85/95...90% of the time.
This is not my first bike, however it is my first Harley...which I intent to keep forever.
Nothing...and I mean Nothing...compares to the head turning style, lasting durability, or the comfort that my Classic affords.
Keep up on the regular maintenance, refresh the tires when needed and this bike will stay alive longer than me.
2007 Electra Glide Classic...the only way to go.
27K and counting
