i bought a second hand 2007 cg125 5 months ago, i used to own a chinese 125cc scooter that was a bit of a nightmare, (always needing attention, and tweaking to keep it running nicely) the honda i got is the total opposite, (i have only had it 5 months though) but its been perfect so far, the only jobs i have had to do are just part of routine maintenance (changing engine oil, adjusting chain tension, and valve clearances) and the jobs needed pretty cheap basic tools. its nicer to ride than my scooter (more stable because it has much bigger diameter wheels and the clutch and gearbox are nice and light to use), i get better MPG than the scooter (i got about 80MPG from the scooter, i get 110-115MPG from the honda), and ive spent less time, energy, and money on maintenance. i couldnt be happier with it. it seems to be nicely engineered and put together, (its nice to work on) and everything just WORKS! its not exciting, very stylish or quick, but its not intended to be, but ive got attached to it because it has a ´simple charm´ because i trust it and depend on it and it doesnt let me down (at least not so far!). | |
