It was time to stop dreaming of owning this bike and actually buy it when my son announced that my first grandchild, a girl, to be named Audri Rose was on the way. | ||||||
Too many times to count my mind drifted to owning a Venture. Four long years I toyed with the idea of buying this bike so, when it was announced that my first grandchild would be a girl the dream became a reality. Dreams do come true... the feeling thar arose in me when I purchased my 2007 Royal Star Venture four months before her arrival would only ever take a backseat to her arrival. When she arrived, I began to dream of painting it pink and black with pearl accents so we could see these United States together in true girl fashion, when she was old enough to ride. (Pink for the princess power it would deliver, black because it is our last name, and pearl because it is my birthstone.) Audri is 19 months old now, and it is finally pink/black with pearl accents. I started with the Blue/Black 2007 Royal Star Venture and words can barely describe how beautiful it is now that it has been transcended into a bike befitting me and my Princess Audri. Most people would assume because I am a female that I would need to make many modifications for a proper fit. Not a single one was necessary or made. Despite the handicap of two bad knees and a weak neck this bike was made for me. The only changes I have made were in the paint colors, and were completely cosmetic. If you´re a woman rider and you want sheer comfort with a bike that is dependable with a great service record, it would be my recommendation that you give this excellent touring bike a trial run. It delivers power, luxury, and has a full five year factory warranty. Although, my Audri is not old enough to ride our RSV yet, I continue to travel everywhere it is capable of going taking notes of all the places she will soon be seeing on the back of this Princess Pink RSV. She has her own electric ride-on motorcycle that goes 2.5 mph, and she already values the thrill derived from being in complete control of her ride and of course, it is princess pink. Contrary to popular opinion this bike makes a greal bike for a woman. It´s because it´s not everyday you get to see many women riding one of these on her own... once word gets out that Yamaha has hit the nail on the head... offering a touring woman all of the comforts she needs on two wheels... with yard after yard of cubic storage space... you´ll be seeing these RSV´s tricked out for the women owners. Not to say every woman will want a pink one. They will want to customize it cosmetically to their own unique sense of style. Hope to see you out and about on your own RSV ladies. It´s also great for guys and men! |
