The most flattering bike you could ever own. Perfectly planted and stable, but can still change lines mid bend. No other like it. | ||||||
I only owned mine for a couple of years and it was my first proper sports bike. I only used it in good weather but had the MOST fun on it. Never went wrong, except for the alarm, which was crap and the choice of the previous owner. In the time I had it I had NO problems with the bike itself at all. Thats unheard of for me. I set up the suspension using a guide I found in MCN and it was perfect. The engine was superb, pulling beautifully in all gears, the gearbox was positive without being notchy, and the brakes (six pots up front) were mindblowing. The only downside was the seat. After fifty miles it felt like the blood in you´re arse had been replaced with concrete. Not nice. On twisties it was just excellent comming alive at every cornerflattering your riding to the point that you felt nothing could keep with you. And usually being right. To conclude, if you want fun, buy it. If you need to do more than fifty miles in one hit, look elsewhere. |
