  I purchased a 1973 Yamaha DT3 250 in 2009.
I was really looking for a RT2 360. I found the 250 it was a basket case road hard and put up wet(totally abused). This bike was a fifty dollar bike but I gave a
little more.
I rebuilt the motor, carburetor and clutch purchased a another tank (original rusted). The seat totally redone,
new front and rear MX fender´s,
handle bars, bassasi expansion chamber rebuilt the front fork´s. Put new
brake´s front and rear.I replaced every nut and bolt that was necessary. Whatever expense was needed to complete this project was well worth it. I striped the bike down completely powder coated the frame. When I put this bike back together she runs awesome. I have always been a Yamaha man I really like the 1970/1973 bikes. I couldn´t be happier to have such a great bike!
