The BLURing of lines

The Yamaha Tmax 500 is an excellent machine. Good power, reliability, super surprising handling, fair fuel mileage, underseat storage, automatic transmission, lite and flickable.
I would pit this bike on the twisties against ANY other bike. The bike has a great sound and power from 40 - 75 is just right. Is it a motorcycle or a scooter¿ That´s hard to say but I would put it in the ´super-scooter´ category. This bike has great likes, it´s comfortable and it just has an all around great feeling. Need to stop¿ This bike will nearly throw you over the handlebars.
I have taken my Tmax through twisties, on the highway and around town. Admittedly two lane traffic with a 65 mph speed limit is not the best arena for this bike. It will top out at just over 100mph but it loses it´s oomph after about 80-85. Around town and in the curves it´s a beaut. Seriously, DO NOT underestimate the fun factor and convenience of this machine. I would recommend this bike to anyone. If it´s shifting you want, I would say keep your bike and by this scooter.
