I am a 30 something male that was looking for a scooter which wouldn´t make me look too silly on my commute to work. The Ruckus was the only one out there that could do this for me.

This barebones scooter is perfect for those that don´t want to blend in with every other 50cc scooter out there. I have driven it for about a year now and I can´t be happier about the experience of commuting to work and joy riding from time to time. Besides my daily commute to work (about 10 miles one way) I look for any excuse to take it out for a spin. This 4 stroke liquid cooled engine seems to be extremely dependable and a breeze to maintain. I have thought about looking into modifying some things to make it a bit faster; however, once I accepted the fact that 37 miles per hour on a straight away is not so bad when it gets consistently over 90 miles per gallon was fine with me. I figure if you want speed then get a motorcycle. Only negative that I have experienced is the fact that even with my 5´10´ stature the seat is a bit close to the handle bars. I sit back as far as possible. With gas prices increasing day by day, this little gem is worth its weight in gold with a little unique style to boot. :) | |
