I am a 30 something male that was looking for a scooter which wouldn´t make me look too silly on my commute to work. The Ruckus was the only one out there that could do this for me. | ||||||
| This barebones scooter is perfect for those that don´t want to blend in with every other 50cc scooter out there. I have driven it for about a year now and I can´t be happier about the experience of commuting to work and joy riding from time to time. Besides my daily commute to work (about 10 miles one way) I look for any excuse to take it out for a spin. This 4 stroke liquid cooled engine seems to be extremely dependable and a breeze to maintain. I have thought about looking into modifying some things to make it a bit faster; however, once I accepted the fact that 37 miles per hour on a straight away is not so bad when it gets consistently over 90 miles per gallon was fine with me. I figure if you want speed then get a motorcycle. Only negative that I have experienced is the fact that even with my 5´10´ stature the seat is a bit close to the handle bars. I sit back as far as possible. With gas prices increasing day by day, this little gem is worth its weight in gold with a little unique style to boot. :) |
