I recently purchased a new 2005 model GS 500F. I am 6´3, 90kg and find the bike very confortable. I ride around 90 kilometres each day to work and back. What you see is what you get with the bike. Comfort, economy, cheap to insure around Dollars 300 a year for fully comprehensive insurance and about Dollars 360 to register (Victoria Australia). I wanted a good reliable bike to get to and from work. It had to be economical which this bike is. I have been getting about 25 kilometres per litre of fuel which is great when fuel is about 1.45 dollars a litre. It is very hard to find a bike under 500cc with better benefits than this bike. (under 500cc the registration is cheaper) It has enough power to get out of trouble. Highly recommended for day to day use and recreational riding. I have just had my first service and it cost Dollars 280 dollars (AUS). I couldn´t be happier with my choice of bike. It suits the purpose. Regards Rohan |
