Review of the 2005 Hyosung GV 650 Aquila:IT´S NOT A V-ROD |

I have purchased my first bike with Hyosung. (Their Alpha V-twin GV 250) GREAT BIKE. But when it was time for an upgrade, I found out that finally the 650 was out and it resembled the Harley design I have admired...the V-Rod! | ||||||

Both these bikes are great. I´m a female and only 5´ 3´, 120 pounds. The bike is balanced perfectly, feels light, and is low to the ground so that I can plant my feet flat. Plus, it looks HOT and not your typical female looking bike. The only problem.... With the 650 is the handlebars are not rubber mounted. A recall is in the works to lock-tight the handlbars. For me...yeah they fell right OFF right when I was about to ride. Lukily I wasn´t on the road. After the tank dented, frame scratched..everything was under warrenty and I was back on the road. There was also a recall on the gas tank. AND to top it off the bike was only in kilometers. In the states...we use MPH and neither the dealership or Hyosung knew how to change the Odometer and so they had to warranty that out as well. |
