when I first bought the bike in 97 she was a plain jane, but I saw alot of potential.The 88 electaglide sport was in immaculate condition with low milage. | ||||

Her metamorphosis begans with replaceing the carb with an S and S. I also replaced the exhaust,and saddle.The license plate cargo rack had to go. I installed a layed down unit.I also replaced the rear turn signals with the short ones. This really dressed up the rear fender. Now to the front of the bike. My bike did not come with a farring.Thanks to Ray Price Harley Davidson they found me one.While the farring was being painted I replaced the front lowers with chrome ones.It´s pretty obvious the passion I have for my old girl.I can park the girl in the middle of a lot of custom choppers and new rides an I still get alot of compliments. I´ve pumped up the motor with a stage one kit. I´ve chromed every thing but the tires.She´s a dream to ride. the older bikes have personality,most of the new bikes are look alikes. If you have an old bike or looking to buy on I would highly recommend it. |
