Jawa 250 Travel or the Silver Snail | ||||||
| I started biking on a CZ 250 in 1976. There have been a lot of machines since then but most of my millage has been on Jawa. So when the Jawa 250 Travel was available in Ireland again it was a leap back to the future for me. I have named the bike the Silver Snail as it is so slow. Being an elder lemon who does not get out much that is not to much of a problem for me. It is an ideal bike for around the city. I get between 30 and 33k to the litre of fuel. Servicing is very easy but surprisingly Jawa have given a very poor tool kit and none of the necessary information. We have restarted a club www.jawacz.com to support Jawa riders. It is worth a visit if you want any information or have any questions. |
