When I bought the bike there where two in the U.S.A and they where in Penn. I was going to send my motor out (honda 750)to RC motors in Calf, to be modifified but after seeing the poster of the Laverda on the wall in the shop there was no choice but to buy her. I first broke her in with the duel pipes she came with, after the 1000 mile break in we put the Header pipes on that came with her,and changed the needles in the duel macunes carbs, what a difference, LOUD and crazy torc. I road with Nortens and Kawasakis, nothing could corner like that Laverda. The only issue was three flat tires, due to the valve stem ripping off due to the torc, there was a tube in the tire, if it was tubless this would not of happened. I hear the bike is in Texas. Shure wish I never let her go.It was something to ride. | |
