A wonderful bike, you can go on autobahn or on dirty bad roads in the forrest. | ||||||

With this motorcyle you have everything , comfortable high riding style , long suspensions for bad roads , easy handling on windy roads and also very good in the forrest. With a few modifications you can even compete in the Paris-Dakar Rallye. 1. Change tires to Conti TKC 80 2. Rasie your forks by putting 20 mm of trays under the big bolt of each frontfork, this will improve ground clearance. 3.Buy an aluminium sumps guard from USA , Link http://www.touratech-usa.com/shop/eurobikes.lasso¿SubCat=Tiger and -session=touratech:1229D132F5F005E217279ECA6C522F77 4.IMPORTANT, delete sidestand and use centerstand only , the sidestand is mounted directly on the engine and a hit will destroy the engine totally , a small oil channel is running in the aluminium right inside where the sidestand bolts are tightened. 5. Change front sprocket to a smaller with one tooth less , this gives more power on first gear. 6.Don´t buy a new tiger like 2005 2006 , they build them more and more for asfalt and the question is soon why call it an adventure bike at all , come on Triumph , you can do much better than this , look at BMW for example HP2 and many more GS models. It,s now time for Triumph to show what they really can do in their new luxury factory in Hincksley , look for example on KTM 950 Super Adventure.
