This bike was in alot of ways a world first introduced in 1974 the 3 1/2 sport had full electronic ignition,6 speed gearbox,Dry clutch,Heron heads and cam belt drive all world firsts on a production bike ,Best handling bike you will ever ride and in its time faster than a RD 350.Great full economy and just different enough to keep it unique.A great investment with values rising steadily.The engine is hand built as is the bike, designed by fabled ex ferrari engineer Lambertini who later went on to design the modern Vespa engine, this V 72deg twin is a real gem at 42 hp @8500rpm or 122hp/lt well beyond the 100hp/lt glass ceiling of the period.Few bikes evoke the senses like a Morini. If Ferrari made a bike this would be it . |
