I´ll start by saying I´m biased and that I have wanted a Ducati since I backpacked through Europe after college almost 20 years ago. But now having the Monster 620, I´m convinced it is a well balanced mid-range road bike.

After my first bike, Ninja 250 in grad school, when I was young, dumb and full of ... , life´s demands took over and the time to ride disappeared. A couple years ago, when my life changed and riding again became an interest, the 2006 Monster 620 ie quickly became the bike of choice for me. It is light and so agile, quick but steady at higher speeds. The best part is the upright position for a street bike, allowing longer rides, without killing your back. The downside is high maintenance costs, it is Italian and if you need a part and service it is slow and costly. Wouldn´t trade it for anything but a 696! | |
