I don´t miss my Gold Wing at all!

I bought a 2006 model (11/2010) with only 3400 miles on it from a young man that needed to take care of his young family. What a sacrifice! Good for me though (58 yoa and still kickin´). It was stock except for a Mustang seat and Vance Dollars Hines pipes. I couldn´t find a sissy bar that was tall enough to make my wife comfortable so I used a Cobra Mini-bar and extended it 6 inches and re-welded attach points for a Mustang Pad...it is perfect. I recommend this for the passengers comfort and safety and it really compliments the lines. I covered the welded mountings with a chrome Cobra insert. Also, installed Kewl Bar risers, Memphis Shades Big Shot windshield, new Dunlops, and a tank bib with pocket. All I need now are leather saddle bags (not sure which ones) and maybe a luggage rack that will require more welding due to the custom sissy bar. More to come... | |
